What we don't have, and will never have so long as people hold the values that you are expressing, is our republic. We are subjects of an empire, meant to be citizens of a republic.
And EVERY EMPIRE COLLAPSES. But not every republic is lost in the collapse. It just depends on how ya fold the circus tents down. Right now, we are inviting the rest of the world to help us fold down the tents. They won't be gentle. It won't be pretty. And they don't want to help. They want stability. They hate the very idea of warring with us. That's why we ALWAYS HAVE TO GO TO THEM. They never come to us.
